Bedfont & Feltham manager Louis Carder-Walcott is keen to push the top three teams in the Combined Counties Division One, writes Tom Moore.

The Yellows have an outside chance of claiming one of the promotion spots, but need Worcester Park to drop points or AFC Croydon Athletic to lose their remaining games.

With Carder-Walcott (pictured) battling for silverware on three fronts, he has described all of their remaining games as cup finals.

He said: “We’ve got four or five cup finals left. The main thing is the three points, but in two games, unless something major happens, goal difference is not a thing.

“We want to put pressure on teams above us. With one slip up we’ll be back on them again. Worcester Park have got Banstead and Farleigh.”

Bedfont & Feltham beat Alton Town in the league last weekend and face them at The Orchard on Saturday in the Combined Counties League One Cup, with the Yellows still looking for promotion and a cup double.

Carder-Walcott added: “To win promotion and two cups would be a treble in its own right. It’s out of our hands in the league as we’ve got to rely on other results.”

CB Hounslow United, who were beaten by Farleigh Rovers last weekend, can do their landlords a favour when they face AFC Croydon Athletic this weekend.

Chairman/manager Frank James said: “We want to help out our landlords. We are friends, so we’ve got to look after them.”

In the Combined Counties Premier Division, Bedfont Sports are looking to put a difficult Easter programme behind them when they host Badshot Lea on Saturday.

Hanworth Villa, on the other hand, face a difficult trip to Hartley Wintney as they look to scramble clear of the relegation zone.
