Brentford will be missing at least nine players for the games leading up to the October international break.

The Bees were missing 10 players for the 2-1 win over Preston but James Tarkowski should be back in the squad within a week.

Based on Neil Greig's update on the club's official site, GetWestLondon has produced a simplified guide as to when Brentford's players will return.

James Tarkowski

Possible return: James Tarkowski

What is the injury: Calf

How was it sustained: During the 1-1 draw at Leeds on September 12

When will he return:Tarkowski's progress is being monitored and he could return to the side for Saturday's game with Sheffield Wednesday.

Andy Gogia

Ruled out: Akaki Gogia

What is the injury: Thigh

How was it sustained:During training

When will he return:Gogia will return to training in 10 days time, giving him plenty of time to regain match fitness during the international break ahead of the visit of Rotherham.

Philipp Hofmann

Ruled out: Philipp Hofmann

What is the injury: Abdominal muscle

How was it sustained: During the 1-1 draw with Leeds on September 12

When will he return: It is expected that Hofmann will return to full training in 10 days time and can return to the squad for the game with Rotherham.

Lewis Macleod

On the mend: Lewis Macleod

What is the injury: Hamstring

How was it sustained: He arrived with the injury and aggravated it after tripping on a twig

When will he return:Macleod is set to play in two development squad games in the international break and, were he to successfully come though those, he could make his debut against Rotherham.

Sam Saunders

Out: Sam Saunders

What is the injury: Calf

How was it sustained: During the first 30 seconds of Wycombe's play-off final against Southend

When will he return:Saunders will, hopefully, feature in two development squad games in October before returning to the squad. Rotherham appears to be an optimistic goal at this time.

Josh McEachran

Broken foot: Josh McEachran

What is the injury: Foot

How was it sustained:During training

When will he return:McEachran was mooted to be out for three months at the time of the injury in July. He is currently working on an anti-gravity treadmill. While no return date is set, it is likely to be around the time of the November international break.

Jota

Injured: Jota

What is the injury: Ankle

How was it sustained: A Jonathan Douglas tackle in the 2-2 draw with Ipswich

When will he return: It was said Jota would be out for 12 weeks which would mean the Spaniard would return to training during the November international break.

Maxime Colin

Out: Maxime Colin

What is the injury: Knee ligament

How was it sustained: During training

When will he return:Colin tweeted that he would be out for eight to 12 weeks. That would place his earliest possible return during the November international break but it could be closer to the Christmas period.

Scott Hogan

Missing: Scott Hogan

What is the injury: Cruciate ligament

How was it sustained: Originally during the 2-0 win at Rotherham last season and he relapsed during recovery work

When will he return:Hogan is set to travel to Philadelphia in October before starting the outdoor phase of his recovery. No date has been set but it is likely to be next season

Andreas Bjelland

Out for the season: Andreas Bjelland

What is the injury: Cruciate ligament

How was it sustained: During the 4-0 loss to Oxford in the Capital One Cup

When will he return:Bjelland is in the early stages of recovery and is likely to miss the rest of the season.
