Brentford will not be taking their feet off the gas when they visit Milton Keynes Dons tomorrow, boss Mark Warburton insists.

The Bees sealed promotion from League One with Friday's 1-0 win over Preston, but the title is still mathematically up for grabs if Wolves slip up in their three remaining games.

Even though it would now be a big ask to finish above Kenny Jackett's men, Warburton will take Brentford's last three games seriously out of respect for their opponents.

He said: “We will apply ourselves for these last three games and enjoy ourselves after May 3. The proper time to celebrate is at the end of the season. It's important to do things properly in these final few weeks.”

The Bees are six points behind Wolves, who have a far superior goal difference, with three games remaining. However, the leaders tomorrow play a Leyton Orient side keen to secure a home second leg in the play offs.

MK Dons, meanwhile, have to win all their remaining games, and hope all those above them don't win any more, to have any chance of making the top six.
