The Bees' nine-match unbeaten run was brought to a halt by Cardiff on Saturday afternoon as first half goals from Joe Ralls and Danny Ward gave the Bluebirds the win.
Brentford will, therefore, be looking to return to winning ways against a struggling Brewers side finding it hard to compete, especially financially, with their Championship rivals this season.
