Nathan Redmond will have the Premier League scouts flocking to Carrow Road if he continues his flying start to the season.

Norwich City managed to fend off interest from Southampton on transfer deadline day to keep hold of the England U21 international.

And the Brentford backline have their work cut out to stop the former Birmingham winger tonight, according to Gavin Caney of the Eastern Daily Press.

He said: "Nathan is highly-rated and super-quick. When he's on fire he's unplayable at this level. He tore Cardiff to pieces in the second half at the weekend and had a hand in two of the goals."

On fire: Lewis Grabban has hit the ground running at Carrow Road

A familiar face for Bees fans will be Canaries hotshot Lewis Grabban.

The former Millwall frontman scored seven goals in 32 games during three spells at Griffin Park but was shown the door in 2011.

However, his career has taken off since, with Norwich splashing out around £3million for his services to snare him from Bournemouth in the summer.

Grabban has lived up to that price tag, smashing five goals in six starts for his new club.

"Lewis has hit the ground running," said Caney. "When you move to a new club you want to get off to a good start and prove yourself.

"He's operated as a lone striker most weeks and has been the leading light for Norwich so far."

Safe hands: Norwich keeper John Ruddy

Brentford blew Brighton away with a scintillating attacking display at the weekend.

However, they face a tough task to get past in-form Canaries keeper John Ruddy.

Caney added: "Ruddy made a crucial save at 2-0 down at Cardiff on Saturday and his team-mates think he's still good enough to play for England.

"He's definitely one of the best keepers in the Championship. It was a big boost to keep hold of him in the summer."
