Lasse Vibe has brought his two young children onto the pitch and both have scored in front of the Ealing Road.

FULL TIME: Brentford 2 (Vibe, Judge) MK Dons 0

It’s all over. Brentford have as comfortable a 2-0 win as you’d ever wish to see. MK Dons were poor and the Bees could have won by much more.

As it was, Lasse Vibe’s header and Alan Judge’s daisy cutter earned Dean Smith the points in his first game in charge.

Three minutes added on. Added time is also known as Jota time at Griffin Park.

Final substitution for Brentford as Philipp Hofmann replaces Lasse Vibe.

Jota in the last minute rings around Griffin Park. Can the Spaniard deliver? He replaces Ryan Woods.

Jota is coming on soon. He’s getting ready now.

There are 15 minutes remaining here. It’s been a convincing performance from the Bees.

Who had the 70th minute then?

GOAL!!!! BRENTFORD 2-0 MK Dons (Alan Judge 70)

Brentford wrap up the three points, if the balance of play is anything to go by.

A corner is only partly cleared to Alan Judge and the Irishman drives the ball in the gap and into the net. 2-0 Bees.

Ryan Woods leaps into the goal after MK Dons clear and nearly gets himself tangled up.

Sam Gallagher replaces Dean Bowditch for MK Dons

Brentford substitution: Sam Saunders replaces Sergi Canos.

  • Share

Another chance for the home side. Konstantin Kerschbaumer fires over when Sergi Canos could unleash that left foot of his.

  • Share

How did he miss?

Brentford should be out of sight today. Alan Judge has the goal gaping but blasts it over the bar.

  • Share

That’s the third time Brentford have been denied by the woodwork. Alan Judge’s free kick and Sergi Canos’ powerful shot struck the bar in the first half. Lasse Vibe hits the bar in the second. MK Dons replace Josh Murphy with Daniel Powell.

The crossbar has denied Lasse Vibe now. A cracking shot from the Dane.

The second half has begun.

HALF TIME: Brentford 1-0 MK Dons

It’s been a very good half of football for Brentford.

But for the Ealing Road crossbar and the skills of David Martin, they would be out of sight already.

Lasse Vibe grabbed the only goal of the half and the Bees must make sure that they put the game to bed early as MK Dons will have the wind in the second half.

MK Dons have the ball in the net but the offside flag is raised.

Goal disallowed

Josh Murphy is in the book for a cynical tackle on Alan Judge. Brentford have the ball in the net but the offside flag is up.

  • Share

Sensational ball from David Button to Lasse Vibe, similar to the one sent to Andre Gray against Watford last season. The Dane should have crossed but shot. Over the bar.

  • Share

Canos hits the crossbar after Vibe appeared to be fouled. He went for power - there was just too much. Mr C. Rossbar is man of the match for the visitors so far.

DOUBLE CHANCE

Brentford have a free kick in Alan Judge range. The Irishman is going to have a shot. He hits the bar. So close. Kerschbaumer has a shot cleared off the line.

  • Share

Vibe nearly has another one with his head but Martin gathers.

  • Share

Should be 2-0 with another counter attacking move. Alan Judge races clear but Dean Martin is able to turn the ball behind for a corner. Shame for anyone who said 25 minutes.

  • Share

Ryan Woods shoots over the bar from distance. Bees starting to exert their dominance.

GOAL! BRENTFORD 1-0 MK DONS (Lasse Vibe 20)

Brentford take the lead!

A wonderful counter-attacking move from the home side. Tarkowski clears the ball to Alan Judge, whose first touch puts him into space. He finds Jake Bidwell on the left flank. The full back gets to the edge of the penalty area before producing an inch perfect cross for Lasse Vibe to open the scoring.

Murphy gets around Yennaris but Tarkowski is back to clear.
