Brentford are taking a look at young Manchester City goalkeeper Charlie Albinson and Chalfont St Peter U18 man Jarvis Edobor.

Albinson has come through the City academy, having been there since the age of eight and has been offered a professional contract after impressing.

He was a regular for the U18 side in the 2014/15 season last featured for the Sky Blues earlier this month against West Ham, keeping a clean sheet in a 3-0 win.

Edobor, who is at Uxbridge High School, was at Chalfont St Peter earlier this year and manager Danny Edwards has been enthused by his talent, comparing him to Stevenage's Jerome Okimo.

He said in November: “Jarvis is going to be a real player. I don't say things like this lightly, but he's a better player at his age than Jerome was. He reminds me a lot of Jerome, and look where he is now.

“Jerome used to stroll it at this level, and should have made the step up a lot earlier than he did. Jarvis can do the same if he shows his potential, but he's just one of three or four very good players who we have coming through a strong U18s side now.”

Edobor has made five appearances for Chalfont this season.

Both of those are in the starting line up for Brentford's development squad to face Crewe.
