Brentford are hopeful Nico Yennaris will shake off a dead leg in time to face Crawley Town on Saturday.

The former Arsenal defender's debut was cut short after he was withdrawn on the hour mark during last weekend's draw at Shrewsbury.

However, Yennaris returned to training this week and should be available for the visit of the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, Adam Forshaw is pushing for a start after making his return from a calf injury, but Sam Saunders is still not fully-fit.

The Bees midfielder hasn't featured since the win against Port Vale four weeks ago due to a niggling knee injury.

However, the 30-year-old has started light training and could be back in time for next week's trip to Sheffield United.
