Brentford star returns to full fitness as another key player steps up recovery

Bees handed injury boosts

Brentford striker Lasse Vibe has declared that he is back to full fitness after the last month and half out with a heel injury.

The Danish forward suffered the injury after coming off the bench at Ipswich in August and has been absent from the squad ever since.

However, he is now back in training and is likely to be considered for action when the Bees face Millwall on October 14.

Vibe put a picture of the mostly deserted training ground with the caption: “When you are finally fit after six weeks but it is the international break.”

Elsewhere, Sergi Canos says that he is 'nearly there' on his road to recovery after a second ankle injury this season.

The Spaniard suffered the first injury against Celta Vigo in pre-season training and a recurrence against Aston Villa last month.

However, he took to Twitter to say he was back on the grass once again.
