Alan Judge is likely to make his international debut for the Republic Ireland after he was confirmed in Martin O'Neill's 33-man squad for their upcoming friendlies.

The Brentford talisman revealed to GetWestLondon last month that he would 'probably' be handed his international debut by the former Leicester boss boss during the March internationals.

Ireland face Switzerland on Friday March 25 before facing Slovakia four days later with both games played at the Aviva Stadium in Dubin.

Judge, who has 14 goals and nine assists for the Bees this season, was on the bench for the Euro 2016 play-off first leg draw with Bosnia & Herzegovina.

He has been capped by his country at Under-18, Under-19, Under-21 and Under-23 level.

Ireland have been drawn in Group E for Euro 2016, alongside Sweden, Belgium and Italy and they will hope to have a better tournament than four years ago; where they lost all three of their games.
