Jota has called on his Brentford team-mates to make a big push in their final four games to get into the top 10 in the division

The west Londoners, along with Barnsley and League One champions Sheffield United, are confirmed in next season's Championship.

However, the Bees squad are not accepting any notion that they have nothing left to play for and are targeting a top 10 finish for the third successive season.

And wing wizard Jota is determined to help his side finish in that top part of the table.

He said: “We've had a lot of games in recent months but we need to push on for the last few games.

“We'll be looking to take a win and if we win our four games we can be in the top 10 and it's very good for the club and for us to be in the top 10 teams.”

The west Londoners finished ninth last year with 65 points and the class of 2017 can overhaul that with two wins and a draw from their final four games.

Brentford take on Barnsley tomorrow at Oakwell (kick off 3pm).
