Romaine Sawyers is looking forward to getting another crack at QPR on Saturday after scoring Brentford's second in their 2-0 win at Loftus Road in October.

The former Walsall man etched himself into Griffin Park folklore with a well taken finish to wrap up the three points against the Bees' hated rivals.

Dean Smith's side are confirmed in the Championship for next season and will finish above Ian Holloway's team, whatever the result of Saturday's game.

But that will not stop Sawyers and co from trying to claim their first double over the Hoops since the 1964/65 season.

He said: “I'd love to get another against them. That's one for the the fans. We want to perform against them so we'll look forward to it.”

Sawyers added to his league tally with a fine goal against Leeds earlier this month and also found the net against Eastleigh in the FA Cup.

The midfielder has had a hand in eight further goals where he was credited with an assist.
