Brentford full back Maxime Colin felt the Bees didn't create enough to take all three points from Ipswich but is content with a point.
Nico Yennaris' strike after a delightful through ball from Romaine Sawyers cancelled out Emyr Huws' opener.
Sergi Canos had a shot cleared off the line but that was as close as either side would come in a second half war of attrition.
Colin said: “It was hard today on a heavy pitch. We play well but we didn't create enough to win the game. Still, one point is better than nothing.”
Brentford are unlikely to go down but they still need three or four more wins to be certain of Championship football next season and Colin wants to reach that mark as soon as he can.
He added: “We need to try and win every game. We want to get to 53 points as quickly as possible so let's see what happens in future.”
Brentford, in fairness, were probably due a 'bore draw' with 26 goals coming in the five games in February.
And Colin wants to make sure the Bees retain their exciting edge going forward but with a bit more resilience at the back.
He added: “There have been a lot of good games. They've been exciting and we have a lot of games in the future so we need to keep going.”
