Maxime Colin is available to line up for Brentford against Preston after missing the game with Brighton because of a knee injury.

The Frenchman has been virtually an ever present this term but was a surprise omission from the line-up to face the Seagulls.

He revealed after the game that it was because of a knee injury and Brentford head coach Dean Smith confirmed he was available for the trip to Deepdale.

He said: “Maxime had some swelling on the knee which made the knee stiff. He's had the fluid drawn off and he's back in training.”

Elsewhere, Rico Henry will face QPR for Brentford B on Tuesday as he steps up his recovery from a dislocated shoulder.

Smith added: “Rico is in full training with us. He'll probably play for the B team on Tuesday (against QPR) and we'll try and arrange a game the week after.

“Alan Judge is also training with us but he's non contact at the moment. He's progressing really well but we'll be guided by the medical team.”
