Brentford midfielder Konstantin Kerschbaumer is relishing Tuesday night's game with Leeds as the Bees look to make it three wins in a row.

The west Londoners claimed a 5-3 win at Burton before the international break and followed it up with a 2-0 win over Bristol City on Saturday.

The result lifted Brentford into 12th place and the Bees are eyeing a repeat of their top 10 finish from last season.

Kerschbaumer said: “We're looking forward to Leeds. We're enjoy the night games at Griffin Park. We beat Burton before the break and won today. We need to start a good run to finish in the top 10.

“It's always good for a player when you finish 10th. You want to be as high as possible and we can really start a run like last year.

“It's good when you finish with winning and it's different when you start pre-season.”

Kerschbaumer spent most of the first half of the season out of the side but has been featuring more and more in recent weeks.

He added: “I'm happy that my hard work has paid off in the time I didn't play. I kept going and didn't lose my head. I always looked to give 100 per cent and I'm happy to be in the team now.”
