Tom Field has cited games against Leeds, Newcastle and Aston Villa as his most memorable ones from his first full season at Brentford.

The 19-year-old impressed after his return from injury, making 17 appearances over the course of the season, scoring three goals.

And it was the games against the league's biggest names that he remembers most fondly.

Field started at Elland Road and impressed before he was withdrawn in the 1-0 defeat. He also shone in the 2-1 loss to Newcastle and the impressive 3-0 win over Aston Villa.

“I have played in some big games and we have been unlucky not to come out with wins in most of them,” Field told Brentford's official website.

“It has been an amazing experience to play at places like Elland Road, even though the atmosphere was better at Griffin Park.

“Every time I walk out I get shivers down my spine. I know loads of people there supporting me and I know a lot of people who have supported the club for a good while too.

“The games against Newcastle United and Aston Villa at home stand out to me because they were two big clubs and I think I played well in both. They show that we shouldn’t be scared of anyone.”
