Brentford have announced that they will play a match in Switzerland in pre-season at the end of their training camp in France.

The Bees will be playing a friendly in Geneva on Saturday, July 15 at the end of a week in France.

Dean Smith's men will cross the Channel on Saturday, July 8 for a week's training before a match against FC Lausanne-Sport.

Match organisers are currently working to secure a venue that will enable fans to attend the match and Brentford have indicated their desire that the game is open to supporters.

A proposed venue for the match, in France, is not now available and the Club is keen to find a location so as many Bees fans as want to make the trip can see the match.

Lausanne-Sport, also known in some circles as LS, play in the Swiss top flight. They have won the Swiss title seven times and the cup nine times.
