BRENTFORD have ruled out a move for QPR winger Lee Cook .

The former Watford star has been stuck in Rangers' reserves after failing to make their 25-man Premier League squad.

Cook has only made one appearance this season – in the Carling Cup defeat to Rochdale back in August – and is desperate to go out on loan.

Leyton Orient have been strongly linked with a move for the 29-year-old, while League One rivals Stevenage and the Bees are also reported to be keen.

But the Chronicle understands Cook is not among Brentford's targets ahead of the closure of the loan window on Thursday.
