Brentford are attempting to fend off interest in Alan Judge by offering him a new deal.

Saturday's opponents Bristol City are among the clubs that have been linked with the 26 year old, who still has two years remaining on his contract at Griffin Park.

But Griffin Park chiefs, who have already seen Stuart Dallas and Moses Odubajo leave in the past week, possibly to be followed by Andre Gray , are keen to tie the winger down to an extended deal by tabling improved terms.

The exits of Dallas and Odubajo proved unpopular with the Bees faithful, and with Gray's on-off move to Hull set to cause further disruption, Brentford could do without losing another crowd favourite and veteran of their League One promotion campaign.

Judge netted seven vital goals to help the Bees into the Championship, but managed just three last term as he adapted to a more defensive role .

It was Judge's corner which set up Brentford's last-gasp equaliser in Saturday's opening day 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town.
