Kamo Mokotjo believes results will come for Brentford after a difficult start to the new campaign that has sees them sit rock bottom of the embryonic table.

The Bees have just one point to show for their efforts, despite taking the most shots in the Championship and facing one of the fewest.

And the South African knows that they need to be more dominant in both boxes in order to come away with victories.

Mokotjo said: “We knew what we had to do. What can I say? We gave away silly goals against us. We dominated for most of the game and started off well.

“The second half was on and off, mostly because we were trailing. We gave them something to hang onto.

“They had something to hang onto and did that and, in some parts, we weren't patient enough. There were a lot of good things but we have to be more stable but that will come.”

Brentford have the chance to put their poor league form behind them when they travel to west London rivals QPR on Tuesday evening in the Carabao Cup.
