Brentford’s medical and science teams, headed up by Neil Grieg and Chris Haslam respectively, have been nominated for the Football Medical Association (FMA) Team of the Year Award for the Sky Bet Championship.

The FMA awards are designed those teams who have contributed to football in injury prevention, treating and managing injured players as well as teamwork.

The FMA Awards Dinner is the highlight of the FMA Conference weekend, now in it's fourth year, which recognises teams and individuals who have excellent during the current season.

A FMA spokesperson said: "To be shortlisted for Medical and Science Team of the year is a terrific accolade for the club since the nominations are made by professional colleagues within the game who understand and appreciate the endeavours of medical and science departments during the season’s campaign.”

The winner will be announced at the FMA Awards Dinner on Saturday 27 May.
