Nico Yennaris is relishing the chance to play in Saturday's west London derby against Fulham at Craven Cottage, having missed the chance to shine last season.

The Brentford full back was on loan at Wycombe for the Good Friday massacre, where the Bees destroyed their hosts with four sublime goals.

The former Arsenal man was in the stands for the win at Griffin Park in November 2014 and he knows the fans are demanding all three points from their rivals.

He said: “I watched the game at Griffin Park last season. We know it's going to be a lively atmosphere.

“We've got a job to do and hopefully we'll come back with the three points.”

The Bees squad went on their Christmas party last weekend and Yennaris believes it will help the squad get to know each other better.

He added: “It's nice for the whole team to get out together. It's a good opportunity to get to know a few of the boys even more.

“A lot of new faces came in but I think we've gelled and a team night together will help build that.”
