Toumani Diagouraga and James Tarkowski have been passed fit for Saturday's crunch clash against Middlesbrough.

The Brentford duo picked up knocks in last weekend's 2-1 win at Norwich City but took part in full training on Thursday and will be included in the squad.

Alan McCormack won't be ready in time as he steps up his recovery from an ankle injury, while the game also comes too soon for Lewis Macleod (hamstring) and Alan Judge (knee). Scott Hogan is a long-term absentee.

Bees boss Mark Warburton said: “We had 20 players train this morning. Toumani and Tarky got knocks at the weekend but they have recovered well and are in good shape.

“Macca is back in full training but won’t be ready and Judgey is being treated by the medical team. He is getting near.

“Lewis is back running. We are seeing real progress but we are not going to rush him back."
