Scott Dallas is winning his battle to be fit for Saturday's Championship clash with Brighton.

The winger was forced to pull out of the Northern Ireland squad for the Euro 2016 qualifier in Hungary last week due to a thigh problem.

However, boss Mark Warburton is confident he will recover in time for the visit of the Seagulls.

Elsewhere, Moses Odubajo is back in contention following an ankle knock that kept him out of the win at Rotherham before the international break, while Tommy Smith (knee) is also fit again.

But Scott Hogan faces up to nine months on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury in the 2-0 victory at the New York Stadium.

Warburton added: "It's a serious injury, there's no masking that. He will have some dark days but the players and staff will get around him.

"He's a very talented player who will play at the highest level. They say a cruciate injury six to nine months, but we're not going to rush him back."
