It's only the first four matches - but average home attendances for west London's big Championship three has seen an increase for Fulham and QPR - and only a marginal decline for Brentford.

However, in terms of places, the first two have slipped a couple of notches on the table, while Bees have actually climbed a rung.

As can be seen on the attached current league, Fulham are 13th, although they finished 10th last season (average: 17,566). QPR are currently 17th, and ended 15th by May last season (15,994).

However, Brentford have actually moved up a place to third bottom (2015-16: 10,310).

Table tales: Current home support averages

The big two relegated from the Premier League, Newcastle and Aston Villa, have swelled the average attendance for the division it should be noted.

Lowly Burton and their loyal but minuscule support by Championship standards is also a factor down the other end of the table.
