Florian Jozefzoon is putting his contractual situation on the backburner and is only focusing of finishing the season strongly at Brentford.

The Dutchman joined Brentford in January from Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven on a six month deal with a club option for a further 12 months.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, Jozefzoon, who has recently recovered from an anterior cruciate ligament injury, is just focused on what happens on the pitch, rather than off it.

“I just want to play games. I'm not hoping for anything. I'm just focused on playing games,” he said.

It is the first time Jozefzoon has plied his trade outside of his native Holland and he is enjoying life in England and, in his first interview with GetWestLondon, described it as football-land.

The forward added: “It's really nice. I've played a lot of games and I've played few games before. I've had to adapt and that's going really well. I like it very much.”

Jozefzoon has made 11 appearances for Brentford since making his debut against Aston Villa and, while he is yet to score, he has set up two goals.
