Brentford fans named Rico Henry as their man of the match at Cardiff but they were unhappy with the performance of Spanish wing wizard Jota.

The young full back impressed both defensively and going forward down the left wing in the 2-1 loss to the Bluebirds.

Sergi Canos took second place in the poll after his opening goal at the Cardiff City Stadium with a score of 6.9, while Alan McCormack rounded off the podium with a score of 6.6.

Popular Spaniard Jota did not impress the Bees fans in Wales and the forward looked off-colour with a number of set pieces overhit.

The slow performance, which was likened to a pre-season friendly by head coach Dean Smith, saw the majority of players poll between 5.3/10 and 6.5.

Ryan Woods just missed out on a top-3 spot by 0.1 points, scoring 6.5 with Harlee Dean and Dan Bentley scoring 6.3 each. Konstantin Kerschbaumer and Romaine Sawyers both scored six.

The rest of the starters polled below 6/10 with Yoann Barbet (5.6), Lasse Vibe (5.4) and Josh Clarke 5.4). Substitutes Nico Yennaris and Florian Jozefzoon scored 5.3.
