A Brentford fan at Cardiff on Saturday was spotted wearing a Bees shirt with BREXIT 16 on the back.
The shirt about the decision to leave the European Union sparked debate on social networking site Twitter.
Bees fan Will (@Sylvestinh0) posted the picture of the supporter on the site and it has sparked debate.
“This may be one of the worst things I've ever seen,” wrote @MattiKelsey, while @GHCHILL responded with “Love it!”
The decision to leave the European Union last year has, arguably, divided the country with the Liberal Democrats pushing for a second referendum on the terms of our departure, while the Labour Party have demanded that Brexit meets six key areas before voting for it.
Article 50 was activated last month by Conservative Prime Minister Theresa May triggering two years of exit negotiations.
Brentford, part of the Hounslow count, had voted to remain in the European Union as did Cardiff, where the Bees were beaten by two goals to one on Saturday afternoon where Sergi Canos' opener was cancelled out by Sean Morrison and Peter Whittingham.
