Brentford are hoping to make four more signings before the transfer window closes in just under a fortnight's time.

The Bees are in the market for replacements for long-term crocks Andreas Bjelland (out for the season), Josh McEachran (out until November) and Jota (out until December).

They are also eyeing a new striker with Andre Gray on the brink of joining Bristol City in what will be a club record sale.

Brentford have been chasing Utrecht forward Sebastien Haller, but a deal now looks unlikely, with Sunderland also in the hunt for the Frenchman’s signature.

The Championship club have shown an interest in Wolves midfielder Kevin McDonald, who was also attracting admiring glances from west London rivals Fulham.

Meanwhile, Brentford are ready to rebuff any enquiries for defender James Tarkowski with the Cottagers, as well as Southampton reportedly interested.
