Sam Saunders and Nico Yennaris are back in Brentford's squad to take on Reading on Saturday.

The pair had been on loan at Wycombe last season with the winger suffering an injury in the League Two play-off final.

Yennaris has also been out since Oxford with a dead leg and it will give head coach Marinus Dijkhuizen some extra options in the squad.

He said: “We had a good training session this morning. Sam Saunders and Nico Yennaris trained with the squad this week.

“Tomorrow we'll train at Griffin Park on the pitch for the final preparation for Saturday.

“It's good (to have them back). It gives us more options. We were short on players in our last game at Burnley. It's good to have extra players in so we have more options.”

Marcos Tebar will not be in the Brentford squad to take on the Royals due to a hamstring injury but is likely to return to full training during the international break.

Dijkhuizen added: “Marcos Tebar is not in the squad for Saturday so I expect him to be back after the international break. Our other injuries are more long term.”
