Brentford are scheduled to travel to Newcastle for their first meeting with the Magpies on Saturday October 15, although this could still change if Sky decide to televise the game.

The Bees last faced them in the 2001 League Cup and were beaten 4-1 after extra time thanks to a Craig Bellamy hat-trick.

The date for the trip to Aston Villa is currently scheduled for September 13, a Tuesday night trip to the second city.

The west Londoners have never beaten the Villans in any competition and fans are looking forward to their first trip to Villa Park for the first time since 1953.

Dean Smith's side travel to Loftus Road to face on October 29 and they will be looking to avenge the 3-0 drubbing inflicted upon them.

Brentford will travel to Fulham for their west London derby on April 29, the penultimate game of the season.

The Bees drew 2-2 at Craven Cottage last December and won 4-1 in April 2015 thanks to a Stuart Dallas brace, an Alan Judge strike and a last minute goal from Jota.

Last campaign saw the two sides meet at Griffin Park in the penultimate game of the season as the Bees triumphed by three goals to nil.

Brentford's first ever trip to Burton Albion will be on March 18.

The Bees have never faced the Brewers in any competition and fans will be looking forward to the chance to tick off a new ground.
