Brentford boss Mark Warburton is wary of the threat posed by Danny Graham this afternoon.

The Bees were in talks to loan the Sunderland striker last month, only for the deal to collapse due to a dispute over the player’s wages.

Championship rivals Wolves swooped to sign the former Swansea frontman instead and Graham will be keen to get off the mark for his new club against the Bees at Griffin Park.

“I know Danny Graham from Watford, he's a very talented player,” said Warburton.

“The trouble was he was at a Premier League club and is on Premier League wages. I'd love to have Lionel Messi, but we are what we are.

“He's a very good player, but our defenders have been doing very well. However, they will have to be at their sharpest to negate the impact he has.”
