Brentford have no fresh injury concerns when they travel to Bolton on Saturday as Dean Smith gave an update from the physio room.

Lasse Vibe (heel) and Sergi Canos (ankle) have been ruled out and won't be back, seemingly, until after the upcoming international break.

And the Bees head coach revealed that Lewis Macleod is a week or so away from playing his first bit of football since suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury in the 2-0 win at QPR last season.

“I think both of them (Vibe and Canos) will come back after the international window,” Smith said.

“We're looking to get Lewis a behind closed doors game in the lead up to the international window and be involved.

Andreas Bjelland

“We'll see how many minutes we can get into him before another game as well. Alan Judge visits his consultant next week and hopefully he gets the green light to get into full contact training.”

Smith felt it prudent to rest Andreas Bjelland on Tuesday because of fears around his knee injury but the Dane is available to face the Trotters.

“I felt with the games coming up it'd be a good idea to rest him. He's fully fit. It gave him the opportunity to prehab and look after himself,” he added.

“He's got work that he continues day in day out and it gave me a chance to rest him totally.
