Brentford have no fresh injury concerns ahead of Derby County’s visit to Griffin Park on Good Friday, and Dean Smith says that the players are looking well physically, and slightly more tanned, as the Bees look to make it three consecutive home victories.

Josh McEachran is back in training again after sustaining an ankle injury in the 2-1 win away at promotion chasing Sheffield Wednesday back in February, but is still unlikely to feature over the Easter weekend.

Also back on the Jersey Road pitches is Andreas Bjelland, after being absent since early March when he picked up an injury in Brentford’s draw at Ipswich.

The Dane is unavailable for Friday’s encounter, but will hopefully be in contention for the trip to Barnsley on Monday.

“They’re all looking a bit more tanned than they were last week, but physically they’re looking well,” Smith said.

“Josh McEachran has got out on the grass which is good, but is obviously unavailable for this weekend.

“Andreas is back training with us which is good but probably won’t make the game for Friday but will hopefully be in contention for Monday.”

Alan Judge is set to face more time on the side-lines as he requires further surgery on his leg, whilst long term absentee Lewis Macleod is still out after going off during Brentford’s victory over west London rivals QPR at Loftus Road last October.
