Dean Smith has suggested he will freshen things up when Brentford host Wolves on Tuesday night.

The Bees lacked spark during the 1-0 defeat to Huddersfield on Saturday and the head coach knew his side weren't at their peak.

Due to injuries, Smith knows that he can't afford to make many changes.

“We looked a little bit flatter than we have done in recent weeks, it just didn’t drop for us," he said.

“We’ve got a young squad and we’ve had a few injuries as well, so it’s not been easy to change the team too often. Huddersfield have had a great season and you can see why they’re up there, but I don’t think we’re too far away.

“I might have to freshen it up, I’m not sure where yet. Nico’s been struggling with a calf problem."
