Brentford's impressive B team picked up another notable victory with a 4-3 win at PL2 Champions Everton at the Toffees' Finch Farm training base.

Kevin O'Connor's side have looked impressive during pre-season and a number of B team players didn't look out of place when they faced Aldershot in the first pre-season friendly last month.

Theo Archibald, who joined the Bees from Celtic last season, opened the scoring inside six minutes only for Everton to equalise midway through the first half.

Marcus Forss, a summer recruit from West Brom, made it 2-1 four minutes later as he chipped the goalkeeper after being played in by Zain Westbrooke.

Westbrooke got his name on the scoresheet in the second half as he drilled a shot into the bottom corner just after the hour mark.

However, a brief calamity in defence saw the Toffees score twice to level the game again.

But, with seven minutes remaining, Forss laid in Herson Alves and he fired home to give the Bees another win.
