Marinus Dijkhuizen was in a good mood after Brentford fought back in stoppage time to draw with Ipswich .

The Bees were 2-0 down on 90 minutes but goals from Andre Gray and James Tarkowski rescued a point. Here are the key points from the Dutchman's post-match press conference.

Brentford deserved a draw

"We had to take a lot of risks with our strikers. Andre scored and you think it’s too late by finally the second goal went in. The goalkeeper asked for the nod to come up and I gave it to him and luckily we got the goal but we deserved a draw."

Why Andre Gray didn't start, and his future

"I have spoken a lot with Andre (Gray) he is a very quick rising star at the club but Hull want him and are bidding for him. He said to me that he was not mentally ready to play, which I respected, in the game but I needed him to come off the bench and he was ready for it. He got a good goal, added something to the attack and maybe added £5million to his price tag."

Dijkhuizen on the defending

"I was disappointed with the defending we were a bit restless on the ball. Ipswich are strong and want to play like us but we needed to be more patient on the ball. Ipswich are better at kick and rush than us as that's the way we wanted to play. We had to switch to plan B and C and we got the goals."

Replacing Moses Odubajo

"We are looking for a right back . Alan McCormack did a good job in defence."It's important to to have a player like him. We opted for Macca over Yennaris due to his experience."

The state of the pitch

"The pitch is awful. It's not good. We went to Luton and Boreham Wood and they had beautiful pitches. We want to play good football and the pitch doesn't help with that."
