Brent U13s got to live every schoolboy's dream this week when they lifted a trophy beneath the arch of Wembley Stadium.

As well as winning the Middlesex League, having gone top at Christmas and stayed there, the Brent lads also secured the London Cup to make it an impressive double.

In recognition of their achievement, The Wembley National Stadium Trust (WNST)and and The FA invited the team to be presented with their trophies at Wembley stadium in the Royal box, emulating this years FA cup winners Arsenal.

The team was treated to a tour of the stadium beforehand, following in the footsteps of their football heroes and many footballing legends into the Royal Box, where Stewart Goshawk of the WNST presented the team with medals and captain Cai Burrows with the cups.

Coach Chris Ampofo said: "It was a wonderful end to a great season. Huge thanks to The FA and Wembley national stadium trust for honouring Brent schools football in this way. The players are really happy. It is an unforgettable occasion that they will treasure forever."
