Harrow aim to put on a show for their suffering fans when they host Ramsgate this Saturday (3pm) after Monday's encouraging display at Staines Town went some way to banishing the memory of last weekend's crushing 5-1 defeat to Carshalton Athletic.

Boro boss Howell was left seething by Saturday's "dismal" offering but was delighted with his side's response on Monday, despite the 1-0 defeat at fancied Staines.

Now Howell has called on his players to give those fans who witnessed the Carshalton debacle something to shout about when Ramsgate visit Earlsmead for the Ryman Premier clash.

"I hope we can get that first win on Saturday," said Howell. "After the dismal showing against Carshalton we are now looking to go back out there and put on a decent show for the fans.

"Ramsgate are a big side and you know what you are going to get with them. They're pretty decent but they've also had a slow start to the season."

"I thought we were unfortunate not to get anything out of the game on Monday.
