Chelsea head to Anfield on Sunday in a game that will go a long way to deciding the destination of the Premier League title and will be hoping to frustrate Liverpool in the same way they did last December at Stamford Bridge.

The landscape looked very different on December 29 ahead of the reverse fixture, with Chelsea ending the year two points behind leaders Arsenal and Brendan Rodgers’ side languishing down in fifth.

Martin Skrtel tapped home the opener at the Bridge, however Chelsea turned the tables in west London as Belgian whizz-kid Eden Hazard cracked in a leveller and Samuel Eto’o scored the winner to give Jose Mourinho’s side the three points.

A win for Liverpool against the Blues this would see them put one hand on the trophy, with Manchester City playing Crystal Palace, and give the Anfield club a remarkable 12th straight victory.
