Forward Conor Washington may have more to celebrate than just his birthday as he prepares for his second full season at Queens Park Rangers.

Washington, who turns 25 today, showed real potential last season, and is a player who could have a huge impact on the club if he can find his goal scoring consistency.

The Northern Ireland international scored seven goals last season for the Hoops, and with Ian Holloway looking to improve his side's ability to attack as a unit, Washington may well be the man to hook that leads the side's charge up the table next season.

A player with undoubted intelligence and movement, you have to believe that if the birthday boy can find his goal scoring boots on a more regular basis, he could turn out to be the main man for the Hoops going into the new campaign.
