QPR's promotion hopes have been dealt a blow after Jermaine Jenas suffered a serious knee injury in training.
The former Spurs star, who has been sidelined with a calf problem, ruptured his cruciate ligaments over the weekend and faces up to nine months out.
Dr Peter Florida told the club's website: “JJ has completely ruptured his Anterior Cruciate Ligament in his right knee.
"We'll be taking him to see a specialist later this week to decide the next course of action.
"At this stage it would appear he'll require a full repair, which is likely to keep him out for between 6-9 months.”
