Brentford defender Jake Bidwell has agreed a new three-year deal at Griffin Park.

We revealed last week that the former Everton full-back has been offered fresh terms by the Bees.

And Get West London understands Bidwell is poised to sign a new contract that would keep him in TW8 until 2017.

The 21-year-old has racked up more than 100 appearances for Brentford after arriving on loan from Everton in 2011.

Bidwell signed permanently last summer and was a virtual ever-present as Mark Warburton's men clinched promotion to the Championship last season.

Keeper David Button and Stuart Dallas recently signed new long-term contracts in west London.
