FREE-SCORING striker Jake Hyde has been ruled out of Barnet’s trip to Aldershot Town.

The striker came off after 71 minutes in The Bees’ 1-1 draw at home to Lincoln City with a pulled hamstring, which will keep him out for the foreseeable future.

Dutch acquisition Marciano Mengerink or Harry Crawford is expected to replace Hyde upfront.

The only other potential change would be in the centre of midfield, should Crawford be moved up top, having played in midfield on Saturday.

This position could be filled by either Ahmed Adbulla or Roberto Garcia Casabella, who was dropped from the match-day squad on Saturday.

Barnet will be hoping to get back to winning ways having failed to win their last two games, as emphasised by winger Keanu Marsh-Brown.

He said: “We need to bounce back. Obviously this game has gone now, so we have to look forward to the next game, where we will hopefully get three points.

“I think we need to improve a bit all-round the pitch because I think we take more of our chances, being more clinical in front of goal. We also need to tidy up the sloppy parts of our game.

“It was disappointing as we need to tidy up things and win games and look to get promoted to League Two. We need to use our experience and get the three points.”
