Brentford FC centre-back Leigh Mills has been recalled from his loan spell at Griffin Park by Spurs without having played a single league game.

The 20-year-old defender signed on a year's loan earlier this summer and has featured regularly for Brentford during pre-season.

Bees manager Andy Scott moved quickly to plug the gap, plus the one created by injuries to Sam Wood and Ryan Dickson, ahead of Saturday's League Two opener against Bury.

He has brought in Bristol City centre-back Jamie Wilson, who played in last Saturday's win over Woking, on loan, along with Ashton Gate teammate Frankie  Artus - a midfielder who can also play at full-back.
