Brentford keeper David Button faces a race against time to be fit for Saturday's clash with Shrewsbury Town.

The former Spurs shot-stopper missed last night's 2-1 win at Bristol City with a minor shoulder problem, with Richard Lee replacing him between the sticks.

However, Button is due to resume training tomorrow ahead of the visit of the Shrews at the weekend.

Boss Uwe Rosler said: "David Button didn't train on Monday due to a shoulder injury.

"We expect him to train on Thursday and then I will make a decision at the weekend.

"He was solid against Colchester, then Richard Lee came in and did well at Bristol City.

"I relish the fact we have two top keepers fighting for the spot.

"There's no dilemma. It's a very good position to be in."
