Bedfont Rangers were beaten on penalties in the final of CB Hounslow’s youth tournament as the hosts claimed the glory.

The team of Raf Piotrowicz, Daniel Nathan-Marsh, Oscar dos Santos, Daniel McMahon, Alfie Huntley, Riley White and Tyler claimed victories in their first four group games before drawing the final match.

White was the star in the group with five goals and Huntley chipped in with one.

Spelthorne were beaten in the semi finals on penalties, with Piotrowicz saving the crucial spot kick to set up a final against CB Hounslow.

It went the distance again, but this time Bedfont were unable to repeat the trick as CB claimed the trophy.

Whitton Wanderers U9s were beaten quarter finalists in the Halliford colts tournament in their final display before progressing to U10s next season.

They secured two wins, a draw and a loss in the group stage to qualify for the quarter finals against the hosts.

The two sides could not be separated with the contest finishing 0-0 after extra time, which meant the dreaded penalty shoot-out.

Charlie Power, Lucas Keating and Oliver Roden all scored from the spot before Samuel Burke and Elias Afedi missed as Whitton were denied a semi-final berth in the cruellest of fashion.
