Marcus Bean incurred the wrath of Brentford boss Andy Scott after being sent off against Swansea City last night.

The Bees midfielder received a second yellow card for dissent near the end of Brentford's 2-0 Carling Cup exit at the Liberty Stadium.

Scott said: "We've talked in training about respect for refs and the FA clamping down on dissent, and Marcus was booked for exactly the same thing at Watford in pre-season.

"With all the injury problems, it's a one-game suspension we could have done without, and he will get a club fine."

The Bees, already without Gary Smith, Charlie MacDonald, Ryan Dickson and Frankie Artus, will also give Nathan Elder (dead leg) and Sam Wood (ankle) fitness tests before hosting Grimsby Town on Saturday.
