Wealdstone boss Gordon Bartlett is frustrated that he'll be missing Jefferson Louis, Matt Ball and Wes Parker for the start of next season.

The striker was sent off against Ebbsfleet for serious foul play, while Ball and Parker picked up their 10th bookings of the season.

In non league football, it takes two weeks for a suspension to kick in meaning the Stones will be missing three key players for next year's campagin.

Bartlett said: “We get a double blow as we don't play on the last day. We don't play and it goes Matt Ball has two, Wes Parker's got two and Jefferson Louis has three so you lose three members of your squad for this season.

“I'd prefer it to be this season. We've got nothing to play for. We want to win and it won't make a blind bit of difference to our season. The start of a season is important as we found this year.”

The Stones face Whitehawk on Saturday in their final home game of an impressive first season in the Conference South.
