Scott Barron stepped up his recovery from a hip injury with a run out for Brentford's reserves in this afternoon's 1-1 draw with Ipswich.
The former Millwall full-back hasn't featured since the Johnstone's Paint Trophy win against AFC Wimbledon in September after suffering a recurrence of the problem that ruled him out of the final few months of last season.
However, the 28-year-old is back in full training and returned to the first-team squad for Saturday's victory against Port Vale.
And Barron, who was made available for loan earlier in the season, built up his fitness in the development game with the Tractor Boys.
Charlie Adams gave Brentford the lead after the break, only for Jonny Leddy's late strike to deny them victory.
